You can have a person take WAY more than they should theoretically need and you see them still with hypo symptoms. Further complicating this scenario is the bloods (ranges could be wrong) and the person's individual set point....ie maybe their body calls for more hormone than most others. THERE are times when a person get the resistance syndrome...only to later overcome it...maybe after a year of taking too much hormone which floods the receptors. The other thing which thryoid resistance mimicks is a hypo t4 and hyper t3 scenario. THE person doesn't feel well...and she's cold. The key in this case is to correct the balance for comfort...particularly if they are taking an all Armour protocol. ~E:) TOTAL-Thyroidectomy 26 months post-op. Any questions?
