Hi Charity,

Sounds like the san Francisco conference was a lot of fun and a huge

success. Thanks for coordinating this effort to get larger shoes made!

Zoe is in the size 8 shoes. She just turned three and is a very tall girl

for her age: 42 1/2 inches, almost 36 pounds. Luckily, her feet haven't

grown much for awhile...

However, we just had a check up with Dr. Herzenberg who said six more months

of wearing the dbb " or when the shoes are too small or if she stops

tolerating it " . In light of the recent discussions about extending the use

of the fab to at least 4, it seems to me that there will be a demand for a

larger size shoe once Dr. Ponseti officially changes his protocol. I'm

certain Zoe will not be able to wear these shoes for another year. As it is,

she won't tolerate the shoes once her toe hits the edge. We have aways had

to change the shoes once her toe hits the end. She starts waking up several

times a night.

Once we change the shoes, she's back to sleeping through the night. I feel

that it's happened too many times to be coincidence.

Anyway, Thanks again charity!

Best, Joanne
