HI Everyone!,

I " m having my ovaries out on December 14. My onc. also was

encouraging me to have my port taken out, since I don't have a use for

it any more. Has anyone ever had the port taken out? What was that

surgery like?

Is it a good idea to try to have both procedures at the same time??

What do you think??

I had my port taken out under local anesthetic. Really wanted a little juice.

They gave me something to calm me down but that was it. Really wasn't needed.

Took about 10 minutes and I was ready to go home. I can see where they can do

that with the other surgery as it is so minor.
