Guest guest
It is bend. look right by the bolts. Try sitting it down flat and you will be able to tell that it is not straight. UoI (or Fillauer?) doesnt bend it in the middle like the gold bars you are used to. Instead there are two bends right by the bolts. Ignore the degrees marked on the wrench. Just put it over the screw/bolt thing and turn it to loosen it so that you can easily move the position of the plate. Use the markings on the bottom of the plate and the little marker marks I put on the bar to determine the degrees. You should be able to tell it is right if the angles look the same as they do on the gold bar (while the shoes are on it). Anymore questions, just let me know! Angel Angel - Thank You! The bar is here! Wow, I'm just thrilled! I do have some questions though. It's not bent, that I could see. Or is it? If it's not bent, where do I bend it at? Shriners won't know, I have to tell them to bend our gold bars. If it is bent, it's less bent than ours is that's for sure. And the wrench... how do you use it to set the shoes? It's got degrees marked on it, but I'm unsure where exactly I should put it to set the shoes. Or do you not use the wrench? Thanks again! It's very cool and I can't wait to show them at Shriners when I pick up her new shoes. I'm going to put her shoes on it this morning and try it out tonight. Guest guest
So they bent it on both sides for you in > Iowa even though he's unilateral? What I don't like about that is, her non > CF isn't dorsiflexed. It's bent sideways at the ankle because that foot > isn't set at 70 degrees. It looks uncomfortable. Any comments about this > I'd welcome. I think they bend all the bars the same, weather it is unilateral or bilateral. I never noticed about the non-cf being different, and Kai never complained so I guess you will have to see how it looks when it is on her and see how she feels about it. > yes! Thank you for marking those. I was singing your praises a while ago > when I saw it was marked. Now I can see why Gia was so freaked out when > those clamps broke. They are pretty specific. LOL Remember I had the gold bar once too, and those sharpie marks are just indispensible! I figured you would really appreciate them > Thank you again. I even adjusted it exactly to her > shoulders. Whoohoo! Now to see if she likes it. (like she's going to > know any difference hehe!) She did carry it around for a while this > morning playing with it :~} hehe Kai does this - packs around his shoes playing with them and trying to whap his sister over the head with them! I am glad you like it so far! Let me know how Darbi likes it Angel
