That's wonderful!!! It's nice to hear good news, isn't it? When is your

due date? I'm a little over 12 weeks and due on March 28th. I didn't

hear the heart beat with the doppler during my last visit a couple of

weeks ago but I'm going back next week to try again. I'm growing so I

know the baby is still in there. I just think that I was not far enough

along when they tried it last time.

Anyway, CONGRATS!! I'm sure it was amazing seeing your little one.

Check-up & US - good news!

Just wanted to share some good news. I went for my monthly OB appt

today and they did an ultrasound because they couldn't hear the

heartbeat on the Doppler machine. My little one is a little farther

along than they said I was on my last appointment! I am 12 1/2

weeks pg, not 11 (which is exactly what *I* had originally

calculated and they told me I was wrong. But who knows better when

I had intercourse than me??!!) The baby didn't want to lie still

enough to get the heartrate, and the doc said it had the hiccups! I

almost cried- it was way too cute. The heartrate was 156 and

everything else is just fine. So, I sit here elated and still in

awe of the whole thing. Wow!

Awww.. congrats! I'm dying to get some sort of confirmation that

all is well. We won't know much of anything till mid Oct. I had

surgery two days after you, started at 350 and am close to the same

weight you are now (sticking in the 220's for the most part

surprisingly), but am only going on 7 weeks pg.

Yes, I think we'll find out the sex when I have my amnio next

month. Everyone is anxious to know, except my dad who refuses to be

told. We're doing the nursery in 'Curious ' regardless of the

gender- some think that's kinda masculine, but *I* grew up on

Curious , and I think I can 'girl it up' more if I have to!!!!

I am mainly doing amnio due to my age (almost 39). We have names

picked (Aerin or ). I have found

TONS of Curious stuff on E-Bay!

Racing stuff would be cool! Here in S Carolina, racing is big!

The flowers and butterflies sounds really cute too. Let me know
