Guest guest
I would too be very interested as I am thinking about going down that avenue! Guest guest
I had several months of accupuncture along with Chinese herbs and didn't find it to be helpful. I had better results from a western herbalist which reduced my bleeding by about 30% and helped with cramps but it still wasn't enough to stop the anemia problem. Guest guest
I have been having acupuncture treatments 2 times a week for the past 3 months. My bleeding has gone from 23 days down to 12. I am also taking some Chinese herbs, Indoplex with DIM, and Sabina (homeopathic remedy). I am not sure what has caused the bleeding to be cut in half – but I am going to keep going with what I am doing. I also had an ultra sound 2months before I started acupuncture – then one a month ago – and the fibroids did not grow as much as they had between my first and second ultrasound. So it is a slow healing process – but I feel it is worth the time to see if it works and gets me out of having a myo. My dad also has use acupuncture for 2 dislocated disks in his back. He was bed ridden and told he had to in for surgery – he has been going for over 10 years and feels much better. I figure Chinese medicine has been around for a much longer time then modern medicine – so it is worth a chance. If you want to discuss you can email off line. Good Luck JenM > I had some positive results from acupuncture for arthritis...not on topic but just passing it along in case it is relevant for someone. > > Noelene > > > I had several months of accupuncture along with Chinese herbs and > didn't find it to be helpful.
