You wont ever find a sock that doesn't have a seam in the toe. The

way to battle that is to pull the sock down a bit off the toes. When

we used the Markell shoes we were told to used the sock to pull the

foot down. Now that wont work in the shoes, but just tug

the sock down a bit so the seam is at the tips of the toes or off

them completely and that should be fine.

Small enough: Try Mervyn's. I dont know if they still have them but

here goes - they used to carry little " booties " in a mesh bag that

were actually just very small cotton socks. Those worked great whe

Kai was little, and Dr P said they were perfect. The Mervyns here

closed, so now I buy Old Navy socks. They are inexpensive and fit

nice. They are a little thicker than the Mervyn's socks, but not

real thick. The only problem is their 0-6 mo is a bit big for an

infant. BUT, I have found that there doesnt seem to be a problem

with having the heel up on the ankle. You might also try lightweight

boys' tube socks that have no heel and the seam is on the very end of

the toe. All of the above socks should be tall enough.

Hope that helps!

seam in the toes, are small enough that they don't wrinkle and tall

enough to stick out the top of the sandal. Does anyone have any

suggestions?

Angel -

I went and checked out Old Navy socks. LOVE the price and all of the colors to

coordinate with her extensive grandma purchased wardrobe but they are too big at

this point. We don't have Mervyn's here. But I'll look for something

comparable. We do pull the seams out of the shoe so they don't rub. Just

wondered if there was another way. I do need very small socks though. Very

small. LOL Now to get the flap on the sandals not to fold over and rub because

her feet are so small...

Thanks for the help!

We have the same problem all the socks are too big. I have been

trying to find preemie socks some were but have been unsuccessful. I

use some cotton socks from Wal-Mart. They are kind of thin I would

like them a little thicker and they don't have grips on the bottom

but they seem to work so far. They are the crew socks for 0-6 month

olds sorry I can't remember the brand but I will check next time I go

and I wash them first because they shrink a little in the dryer.

Please keep me informed if you find something that works.

I'm going to go on the hunt tomorrow so I'll let you know if I find anything. I

never thought of looking for preemie socks... wonder if we can find those

online. Hmmm....

My Sophia has the shoes, too. She went into them when she

was less than 2 months old. She did well with the Tykes socks at

Target. They have a few different kinds. They have a really

stretchy kind that fit the feet quite snuggly and the seam isn't as

pronounced. Take a look there if you have one nearby. HTH.

We don't have the sandals - but the socks that work best for us are

the Old Navy socks with grippers. They have both thin and thick

ones. We like the thin ones. They are nice and long, the seam

isn't very pronounced, and they fit very well in the shoes. Like I

said, I've no experience with the sandals.
