So even after you get the urine test you would need to decide some other way, most likely. > > and is dmsa a drink or a pill or a powder? can it be mixed into juice > or " milk " ? usually you buy it in capsules, and it is a powder. You can read MUCH more about it here: http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_buy_DMSA.html Toward the bottom of this (above) page there are lots of ideas for mixing DMSA into things. Yes, you can mix it into juice or milk. However, see the section about not STORING it after mixing it into liquid, unless you use acidic juice. > > and what do you do, order like 1 bottle that lasts for many rounds... > or is each bottle 1 round and you order a whole bunch at a time? Well, let's see. It will depend on who you are buying it from, and how much you are using. Generally a bottle would last several rounds, especially for chelating a child. For example, if you are buying 100 mg capsules, and dividing them up--- giving say (for example) 25 mg per dose. That would be 4 doses per pill. I think VRP sells bottles of 40 or 45 capsules? So that would be perhaps 160 doses in one bottle. If you are giving a dose every 4 hours, that is 6 doses a day---- so 160 doses would be enough for 26 " on " days. Except I am probably too sleepy to be trying to do math Also, that is an example, and of course you may be using a different dosage, a different source of DMSA, etc. good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
You don't have to do urine testing every round. It's pretty expensive. Remember, you may not get mercury out right away. We didn't see anything for a month, and then the metals started moving. Yes, it's a pill, but it can be mixed in. Yes, you can get a bottle that lasts for many rounds. Guest guest
My dentist today told me to take xylitol because it kills bacteria in the mouth and so is very helpful for preventing cavities. Of course I hear " kills bacteria " and run home to google. Anyone using this, or heard of it? The following is from an oral hygiene site, but I found studies showing it can really reduce ear infections too by wiping out strep. " When you take xylitol, the acid attack that would otherwise last for over half an hour, is stopped. Because the bacteria in the mouth causing caries are unable to ferment xylitol in their metabolism, their growth is reduced. The number of acid-producing lactobacilli and streptococci may fall as much as 90%. No acid is formed because the pH of saliva and plaque does not fall. After taking xylitol, the bacteria do not adsorb well on the surface of the teeth and the amount of plaque decreases. " Nell
