Guest guest
If you said the hospital again - then your right! was at her friend's birthday party, and went to get up off the couch, and out went her back again. They called me, and by the time I got there, she was in agony, and her hands were all cramped up - stuck. It was really bad this time. The worst yet. They called 911, and when the firemen got there, they said her hands were stuck because she was hyperventilating. I didn't know that could happen. They were all white, too. Very scary. I gave her a flexril, but it wasn't helping much. So back to the hospital in an ambulance. We couldn't move her, and didn't want to. Anyway, they gave her a shot of valum at the er. That helped a lot. So, they sent her home. This is just so frustrating. I don't know why this keeps happening. Why in the world would a 15 year old girl keep throwing her back out, doing absolutly nothing to cause it? I mean, it happens when she bends over, gets up from sitting - little things like that. It makes more sense when an older person does that who has had an injury. But she's not had any injury. So, now back to her dr tomorrow. I guess I need to ask him to give me something strong to give to her when this happens, so we don't have to keep calling 911. If I could give her something strong, and let her lay where she is for a while, and avoid the er, it would be much better. Don't you think? Is this an unreasonable request? Dad was there for this one. He was away on business the last 5 times it has happened. He doesn't do well with this stuff at all. He just stood there staring at her. Couldn't say or do anything. Poor guy. I guess it must be hard for someone who is in control all the time. He must feel so helpless. He was like that when was in the hospital too. He just can't do anything. It's like he's frozen. Very strange. So, My poor is really hurting, and nobody is giving us any answers. At least they didn't accuse me of enabling her to be in pain, or trying to just get drugs for her. I guess that's something. Oh, I hope we can get this sorted soon.
