Guest guest
You might have overdosed yourself, so it's still in your system, and taking 2 grains is adding to your overdosed system.... It's all tricky. I have dropped back down to 3 grains after being on 3 1/4 and sometimes 3 1/2. I am surmising that my lowering estrogen due to being peri has decreased my need for thyroid a bit?? Yup, it can be confusing. ) Janie > I did feel some pressure in my chest the day before yesterday. mostly i just > feel a weird feeling in my chest. almost like fluttering...only it doesn't > feel like my heart..just a weird feeling. > Today - at 2 grains so far this morning..i feel my heartbeat very > strong...and i wasn't aware of it before. > i'm so confused. > cindi > > >

I've stayed at 3 1/2 grains the past few days. And I actually feel MUCH better. I am sorta puzzled by this. But here's one thought. I think I was without thyroid hormone for so long (decades not years) that at first my body had a lot of thyroid hormone resistance. It seemed like my body was just craving as much as it could get. As the months have gone on...has that situation improved perhaps? The body has figured out it has hormone every day and the little receptors are starting to work..and all of a sudden it was just too much. It's hard to say, isn't it? We're all so individual with this...and I think the longer we went without what we needed...the stranger it might be for us to get adjusted. And then again, did the thyroid start kicking back in more? I know that can happen with Hashmoto's some time. I think I'm going to stay at the 3 1/2 grains for a week or so and then reassess. But at least my digestive pain/frequency is resolved and my heart/chest seems to be doing okay. Cindi

But I'll see how this does for just a little while longer. Cindi
