Guest guest
Hmm. Give me a pinch of boost and a dash of speed, please! ) Kate Re: Doctors!! A Boost to loose weight?? Speed to clean our house?? Where are these Dr's and Nurses getting their degrees?? I'd just like to see them Hypo for one week. Though I doubt that they could make it through just 1 day!! Be my guest Sandy, a swift kick might do them some good!! LOL Kathy
Guest guest
See, there really are some good nurses left out here, they're just few and far between. They get used to following doctors's orders, and, besides that, really aren't trained in these meds (other than mainstream) in nursing school. THEY have to follow the doctors' orders, unless they have their own practice. Re: Doctors!! > > Hi everyone, > I had to drag myself to work today. I clean houses with my sister, but I have recently given up many of them due to lack of energy. I am just amazed at the responses from my email, many of you have had similar things said to you. This is the first time that this has happened to me. What in the world gives them the right to talk to us that way? > > , I wish you would do an article on " Stupid things that Dr's say . . . .. " . I'm sure everyone on this list can give you more then enough material for it!! They must be worried about JOB SECURITY!!! LOL Pretty soon, no one is going to trust any Doctors! I know I will do my homework and FIRST treat myself whenever possible. > > My son has a friend who's wife is a nurse, and she was in shock when I told her what the nurse said to me. I went to her house last night and she was looking up a lot of info for me. I think she knows more then my Dr. ever did! > > Thanks for all the support!! > Kathy
Guest guest
Hi , Yep, I was in nursing school for a while and that is exactly what they were preaching in my classes. I was on their fast track program to one day become a nursing administrator, possibly at a hopspital somewhere. You know, the chick in charge of all the nursing staff in the entire faciltiy. Anyway.....once I got to my clinicals I was AMAZED at the way the doctors not only treated their patients, but how they treated the nurses. And the nurses took it! Also, a lot of the doctors, at least where I was going to school, were on drugs. Not regular meds, but street drugs. I dropped out after I had seen that light and became an accountant. It's part of the reason why I really don't trust a doctor anywhere unless they have earned that trust. My allergist and our GP are the only two who have.
