I tried to go to the links as sugested to read about the eyes,

but when i clicked on the link it took me to a site I needed a pass

word to enter which i don't have. Along wirh sarcoid i have been

diagnosed with mitochrondrial myophty, which is another form of an

auto immune desease, from my reading here in the group, its not

uncommomn to have multiple auto immune deseases. I take what seems

to be a truck load of meds right not, some for the actual proble and

some to counteract the side effects of the ones i'm told i need.

Predinsone is, i'm told is the cause for the hipplacia i have

comming on now. I have ben on predinsone for several years now, at

one time i was on 120 mgs a day, all of this happen while under the

va care. My current doctor is tring to get off of theses meds but

says i need to do it slowly. About my eyes, i'm having trouble

focusing, severe headachs, and alot of twiching, most of this in my

left eye, is this normal for saecoid, i'm sorry for the typing and

errors but i'm having to keep my self about four to six inches from

the screen to do this. Does sarcoid attack one eye or is it

generally both. Thats all i can stand to do right now but i will in

the near future, please if anyone has a question, iI will try

toanswer them as best as I can.

ONce again, thank you all,

If anyone does need the cataract surgery it's the

easiest thing I've ever had done. Waaaaaay less than

the dentist. I straightened my eyesight out for a few

years & my eye biopsy didn't show sarc but they're

messing up again. It could be the Cytoxan or the fluid

on my brain.

, I had bilateral cataracts due to the Prednisone use. Both eyes were operated on 2+ years ago (I was 54 then), about one month apart. I was very happy with the surgery. Before surgery my vision without glasses or contacts was 20/200 & 20/400, so I enjoy being able to drive, watch TV, do normal things without glasses. I still need reading glasses, unless I can grow arms like Gumby, but that doesn't bother me.
