Guest guest
my husband is one baclofen for cramps, somebody told us to put a bar of dial soap at the bottom of the bed under the covers and in a sock. We haven't tried it but a few people have have told us the same thing and swear by it. Michele
Guest guest
Have you tried eating a banana to see if it's a potassium problem? That or take a calcium/magnesium tablet before going to bed. Sometimes our levels get so low, that our muscles kick into revenge mode. I wouldn't take calcium daily, but once in awhile, it wouldn't hurt. Especially if you're on prednisone. Tracie

Guest guest
Dot, I also take Quinine for cramps. I started getting muscle cramps in weird places several years ago--outside my ankle, around my elbow when waving my arms, more places than you want to know about! The Quinine really helps, it's inexpensive, and I've had no side effects. It does have a nasty taste, but it doesn't linger. Guest guest
Hi Dot, I am on Lorazapam for my leg "dancing" ( I always wanted to dance, :-) ). Anyway it works for me, I take 2mgs, then if I wake up at night due to the legs, I take an extra 1mg, get on the computer for about 20-30 mins and back to bed, and that seems to work. Guest guest
Hey, thanks for the info. I'm going to try the bana thing for a week. If that doesn't help, I'll try the calcium for a week. Next will be medicine. Is this a prescription or over the counter? 'Dotmarla wrote: Hi Dot, I am on Lorazapam for my leg "dancing" ( I always wanted to dance, :-) ). Guest guest
Hey thanks for this info too. I like inexpensive and no prescription ideas.
