Well it would not be my choice of a means to lose weight if I were normal

thyroid, but I do think a normal thyroid person could lose weight by taking

thyroid hormones if they took enough of it. Ask any hyperthyroid person.... Most

of them lose weight from the excess hormones, but it is not a good feeling to be

nervous and panicky all the time!

but i don't think this was the issue...it was whether a non-thyroidal person

would lose weight if they took thyroid hormone medication thereby raising

their thyroid hormone levels to a hyper state induced by too much thyroid

hormone.

I think that evidently the answer must be yes since folks have used thyroid

hormone for weight loss...but geez, what a dangerous route to go.
