Hi Ava,

My son has those dimples also. I was told by one doctor that the

dimples on the shoulders and hips are almost unique to RSS. Since then

I have heard of others without RSS or without being SGA also having

those dimples.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the help. Those dimples got my attention on the RSS list

and upon studying it further, my daughter has about 13 of the signs.

I always knew there was something more to learn...and I guess now I

may be finding out what it is.

She just turned 6, and until now it has only been a diagnosis of

hypotonia.

Something tells me there is a long way to go, and much to learn.

Hi Ava,

My daughter (8 1/2 mos,diagnosed RSS) and born at 35 weeks, 3lbs

3oz, has those dimples on her shoulders and in the small of her back.

She also has them on her elbows!

Hi Rae,

Yes, my daughter Jua, has dimples in the elbow too and also her knees.

Altogether, there are 4 sets, in 4 places! Very interesting!

Darcy has the shoulder dimples (which are SOOOO cute) and a sacral

dimple (base of spine). His paed has seen them in association with

RSS before.
