Guest guest
My almost 4 year old has major clostridia and bad bacteria overgrowth. The yeast problem is undercontrol. We have been trying to get rid of the clostridia since Oct. with Florstor (2 - 50 mcg a day) We will move up to the extra strength version (250 mcg per cap) and try oliver leaf extract. My son is improving in a lot of areas, but the gut stuff we aren't moving on. Its so discouraging. We tried Culturelle and it was total hell (we tried it 3 different times). He was a maniac. Does culturelle kill clostridia? Thank you all. Is Laurdcin (not sure of spelling) for clostridia? We are starting chelation at the end of March. Thank you all! Guest guest
For us, prescription Flagyl was what finally got rid of the clostridia. Culturelle (3 per day) brought it down somewhat. Unfortunately, there was a see saw effect (dr says not uncommon) in that killing off the clostridia caused the yeast to resurge. We went back and forth a number of times on that, so be aware that killing off one may make the other come back. Our arsenal includes Ther- Biotic (a probiotic from Klaire), Culturelle, S. Boularidii, MCT oil, Grapefruit seed extract, and Lauricidin. Email me offlist if you want more details. > > > My almost 4 year old has major clostridia and bad bacteria overgrowth. > The yeast problem is undercontrol. Guest guest
Lots of saccromyces boulardii is supposed to help (a particular probiotic organism). Flagyl is more toxic to bugs than people, but only slightly. Andy . . . . . .. . . . > For us, prescription Flagyl was what finally got rid of the > clostridia. Guest guest
Yes, Culturelle is supposed to be specific for clostridia. Did you give it three times a day? It might be " total hell " during die off. Barb [ ] How do I get rid of clostridia? > > > My almost 4 year old has major clostridia and bad bacteria overgrowth. > The yeast problem is undercontrol. Guest guest
ARe you suppose to give 3xs a day and at what dose. I just got a prescription for Flagyl. I am having huge problems w/ gut related behavior. I did do sacc boulardi and 100,000 culturelle and it has been somewhat of a hell but who knows. How long do they need to be off sugar? nne--- In , " jromkema " <jromkema@f...> wrote: > Yes, Culturelle is supposed to be specific for clostridia. Did you give it > three times a day?
