This is vague. It's 1/4 cup per quart.

No, but I take Lyo-San's acidophilus when not using their powdered

starter (which contains acidophilus). I've read about people adding

probiotic capsules to their yogurt mixture but I don't know if it

ferments properly. Anyone...anyone...Bueller...?

Anyone...anyone...Bueller...?IMO, if the capsule contains ONLY acidophilus and you add it to the yogurt, it should do fine. If I recall correctly I dont think it actually MAKES yogurt, but given the warm environment it seems like it should grow. I guess that all depends on what it eats though.
