Guest guest
Sue, Saw your post on the Icee drink. Noticed you are in Denver. We are going there next week because we noticed that there are a few resturants that do GF. Do you personally recommend anything or place? Wife is the Celiac, but I enjoy finding and surprising her with this kind of thing. My thanks in advance. Grant from KS

Guest guest
Well, we have Deby's Gluten Free Bakery/Cafe. 100% gluten free facility. Great food, friendly place. Also, most of the Beau Joe's pizza placed carry Deby's pizza crusts and will make you a GF pizza. Deby's owner has worked with Beau Joes to develop kitchen procedures to ensure the pizzas are GF. You can also buy Deby's stuff frozen at a couple of health food stores. Vitamin Cottage carries baked goods form Outside the Breadbox, which is a GF bakery in Colo Springs. I think Water to Go carries their stuff too. Other than that, we have some of the " usual " places with GF menus. Outback Steakhouse, Pei Wei, etc. Here's a link to the Denver CSA's restaurant list http://www.geocities.com/csadenver17/dining.html#rest_den Hope that helps. Guest guest
And just to add to the list, Beau Jo's usually carries a gluten free beer. I haven't tried it myself but I'm headed there this month. There is a great Italian restaurant located at 32nd and Youngfield (right off of I-70) called Abrusci's. They have a good GF menu including bread for dipping before dinner. See GF menu on their website. http://www.abruscis.com/menu.shtml For a fancier restaurant, I've heard wonderful things about Vesta Dipping Grill in downtown Denver. http://www.vestagrill.com/ And if you go to an Outback restaurant, don't forget to get the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under. IT IS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! For quicker dining, I like the naked burrito from Chipotle. Have fun in Denver.
