Guest guest
Hi All We all talk of AF, the condition, with which we are all too familiar, yet the outcome for most of us is the same, and thats not surprising as we are all dealing with the same organ The Heart. What I am finding difficult is the numbers of different drugs and then combinations of those drugs that are being used with little, some or great effect for individuals. Surely by now there must be some conclusive eveidence to show that drug or combimnations that are the BEST in converting or allowing as near possible Quality of Life. I for one am particularly annoyed at being told that my AF is under control and that I am very tolerant of Sotalol, my current drug. When the truth is that I am lucky to be able to climb a set of stairs of do any other daily duties without running into high HR, sweating and all the other symptoms so many of us face daily. Why do the Cardios ( at least the ones I see) seem to push aside the fact that omne may look OK, talking to them, but are being subject to an early retirement because of this affliction. I`d like to haer from others on their experiences
