Actually, Terri, they probably don't put their pants on like I do. WARNING: lingerie remark coming up. DELETE, I repeat DELETE if underwear bothers you. (I mean if the topic of underwear bothers you.) Anyway, I sit on the side of the bed, pull on clean granny panties (remember the quiz a couple of years ago, old-timers?) to about my knees, then pull on my socks, then my jeans or whatever. Then I put my shoes on & tie them. Then, the grand finale! I stand up, pulling up the undies & the jeans in synchrony, if I'm lucky. I somehow doubt that most doctors put on their pants like that. I wish they had to for a couple of months. Anyone else with helpful hints? Hey! That could be the next topic! "Helpful Hints for Dressing." Rose, the dramatic moderator

Rose, thanks for bringing a smile to my face with this one. I have felt like absolute shit the last two weeks and needed to smile. I think I would end up face first on the floor if I tried this way of getting dressed. But yes it does sound like a good way to torture some doctors...lol. 95% of the time I just wear a long cotton nightgown....and go freebird. I'll have to try getting dressed your way the next time I leave the house, which has been about three weeks now. I'm not sure but I think the heat really got to me even with central air. I'm feeling better tonite but the weather is alot cooler. I think I broke my own record a couple of days ago and said the F**K word about 60 times in one day. Damn...I was so sick and in such pain. hopefully i'm on the mend now. hugs S.Rose

Yeah, Rose, I doubt they put their pants on like that. You are quite right. That one tickled my funny bone. Thanks for the laugh.

, I hate to ask because Tracie will think I'm obsessing about underwear again, but is freebird the same as commando ('s expression for no underwear)? Rose, who really does think of other things besides underwear.

Rose, this time I actually laughed out loud. You ARE hilarious. Obsess already...cuz it sure is funny....lol. Yeah, it's the same thing as commando. You know free and unencumbured....and I have a tendency for infections of that sort. A doctor told me once to wear cotton or nothing at all. So that's exactly what I do. whew...still smiling....lol.
