Hello,

My name is Heidi and I live in Minnesota. I've struggled all my life with

stomach issues, coorisponding back aches, digestion problems, anxiety,

heart racing, irritability and, after the birth of my first son, gallbladder

problems

(no stones, just inflamation)

Becuase of the gallbladder problems with my first pregnancy I decided to try

and get to the bottom of it before the end of this pregnancy (I'm 33 weeks -

due the middle of June.) I was told about 2 months ago that I am allergic to

gluten and have sensitivities to dairy, redmeat and egg yolks. My midwife is

going bananas ( I'm only eating about 1200 calories a day and she wants me

to be at 2400)and I'm trying to find foods that I can eat that will help me at

least

maintain my weight. I've lost about 10 lbs in the last two months and in the

first

4 months lost about 15 lbs as well, due to morning sickness. Baby's growing

fine and all blood tests have come back normal. But I still don't feel 100% and

I'm having a hard time finding things to eat in the morning that doesn't make

my heart race (even gf/df stuff) and a snack at night that doesn't give me a

stomach ache and put me over the bloated edge.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any favorite, easy snacks that are

high in fat and easy to digest that they'd like to share? Since it seems that my

diet change is the reason behind this last bout of weight loss.

I was also wondering, at the end of the day, after eating gf/df, I still feel

bloated

(always a prelude to severe stomach issues for me). Wouldn't that mean that

I'm still allergic to something that hasn't been diagonsed yet? I'm not sure

what else to eliminate since the other testing (blood and muscle) haven't

shown anything.

In the course of this new journey I've also eliminated high sugar fruits and

" cold energy foods " ie salads, watermelon etc... as well as things that make

my lips tingle ie: celery, strawberries, and cantalope/muskmelon, because

they seem to bring on my symptoms as well.

This is so new to me and I feel very stuck. I'm trying to wrap my head around it

but feel somewhat rushed to find a calorie solution asap. I have a natropatic

consultation next week so maybe that'll help too. Any suggestions or words of

wisdom would be appreciated. ~ Heidi
