Guest guest
Hi , I guess it would depend on where in Northern VA? I live in Southern Calvert County land so some areas of Northern VA are farther than others. Marilouise 9/9/03, LCF, 3 week cast after 2nd tenotomy (6 days left!) Owen and 3/20/99 > Marilouise. Hi all, Since so many of us are patients of Dr. Herzenberg's, I started thinking that there may be some interest in organizing a get- together for anyone interested who sees Dr. H, lives in land, or the surrounding states. I will just put the idea out there. I haven't put a lot of thought into date, location, etc. Marilouise 9/9/03, LCF, 3 week cast after 2nd tenotomy (6 days left!) Guest guest
Hi , My home is about 2 1/2 hours south of Sinai. Can't remember where you are coming from... Maybe we could meet in the middle somehow? Let me know your feelings on it. YES! YES! YES! 's cast comes off on Monday -- 6 LOOONG days from now. I can't wait to plop her little body into a real bath!! She crawls into the bathroom after her older siblings and stands at the tub and cries to get in. It's so sad. Tonight she got her rubber duck (her FAVORITE toy in the world!) out of the cabinet, crawled with it to the tub, pulled up, threw the duck in the tub, turned to look at me and said " BAAAA " (bath)! I almost cried and would have if it hadn't been so darn cute! I read your post that you will see Dr. Lamm on Friday. I like him He seems very soft spoken and gentle natured. I kinda wish you guys were seeing Dr. H on Monday instead though so we could meet Marilouise 9/9/03, LCF, 3 week cast after 2nd tenotomy (6 days left!) Guest guest
Hi everyone, We are also interested in getting together if it all works out. It kind of depends on the usual where and when. If we can make it though we will deffiantly be there. Does anyone have any ideas on where (like what kind of place to meet at?) I didn't know what everyone had in mind, like a kid friendly type restaruant, park, etc... Keep us posted!!!! We live in Jersey but with out traffic it usually takes about 2 hours to get to Sinai. Guest guest
Hi, Yeah, the where is my biggest " ummm " -- LOL! It seems that Baltimore would be pretty central for everyone but it's not necessarily the best choice for a location. I grew up on the more west-side of Baltimore, not the north side which is where Sinai is. Let me do some " research " for an idea for a cool place to meet. I have schoolagers (don't know who else does besides me and ) so a weekend would be better than a weeekday. I'll send more info soon Marilouise 9/9/03, LCF, 3 week cast after 2nd tenotomy (6 days left!) Owen and 3/20/99 > Hi everyone, > > We are also interested in getting together if it all works out. Guest guest
Marilouise, We are exactly 3 hours away and like I said it doesn't bother me anymore to drive that distance but I do have a school age child like you said so a weekend would be better. I think the average travel time for all of us going to Dr. H is about 3 hours. That is great that will be officially finished with the casts!!! That poor baby wants to take a bath with the big kids. She waited this long a few more days will seem like nothing at all. I like Dr. Lamm too. He casted Christian 2 weeks ago. He actually asked me if I minded that he do it as opposed to Dr. H himself. He said he would never touch him if he didn't think Dr. H had confidence in him. I didn't mind but Dr. H walked in anyway to assist after that. That day was nuts in there. There was standing room only in the waiting room and they were backed up by hours!!
