I chose to stay with one brand for a long period of time. good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
Do a few rounds and see. I do not think you need to increase the dose. I did not see much after my son's first round. I did not increase the dose but after a few rounds I could tell something was happening (something good!). Good luck, > We've started chelating!! Guest guest
We just completed round 3 using Solaray. I read in the archives back in 2000 that Andy said something re: negative reports about Solaray but I posted about it very recently and he didn't comment or recommend that we switch brands. The product today may be totally different than it was in 2000. We use 10 mg. and our child weighs 40-42 pounds. We're seeing good things. [ ] Brand recommendations for ALA? We've started chelating!! This is round 1, day 3, and so far we aren't seeing much of anything out of the ordinary. Maybe a little tiredness the first day, maybe a little more alertness, but it may all be imagination. However, we're starting light (5mg every 3 hrs, for an almost 40lb boy), so maybe we need to up the dose next round. My question: It seems like I once read here, but of course can no longer find, that some brands of ALA were better than others. In particular, are any to be avoided? We bought Solaray -- is that one OK? =======================================================
