Yeast & E Coli

I just received back a stool sample I sent in.

It showed the following:

Good flora - Bifido 2+, E Coli 0+, Lactobacillus 2+

Imbalances - Gamma strep 3+

Dysbiotic flora - E Coli 3+, Candida 4+

My son's stools are firm and regular - I would have never thought that he had a

yeast problem. My questions are this:

What is NLF E. Coli vs. regular E. Coli?

The Doctor ordered Septra (a sulfa product) for 2 weeks to treat the NLF E.

Coli. Has anyone used this with positive/negative results?

The doctor also ordered Nystatin for 6 months to treat the Candida. Should I

use this or something else?

Thank you,

Sawyer
