Yup you need to get the handicap parking permit.

Bonnie

I know I should get one... I just always think that there's someone out there

who needs that space more than I do. Then I'll be wrestling my two 34lb kids

through the Wal-Mart parking lot in -30*C and a shiny Lincoln Towncar with a

" rockin' grandma " bumper sticker will pull into the handicapped parking space. A

little blue haired lady in fur coat and pumps will get out of the car and

practically do cartwheels into the store!!!! That's when I start swearing under

my breath and tell myself I NEED a parking tag!!!!! LOL

No offense to any blue-haired people!! It's actually my favorite color!

I have a handicapped parking tag. I was urged to get one after I had my heart

attack and bypass surgery (I was 48 and thought I shouldn't have one of those -

I don''t really need it) I fought it for six months and then applied for one.

That was two years ago and I am so glad I did listen and get one. I don't use

it all the time - it depends on how I feel. But when I need it, it sure

helps!!!!!

So, give yourself a break and get one -- you really do need it(for when you

really need to use it).

Take care, Patti

Sorry so long in responding Bonnie- this adjustment isn't so easy - blek and I

also picked up my kids cold- nice of him to finally share lol..... Mine is for

SSI- and was denied once- heard nothing for approx a year after reapplying for

the re-hearing and then found a lawyer , who in turn- got the ball rolling again

and supposedly there is a hearing in April before administraive law judge and so

far secretary says I do have to be there....

Hugs- TJ

TJ - how many times have you been denied SSD? I have been denied 2 times

and finally hired a lawyer. This next time is before an administrative law judge

and you have to be there unless too sick to attend.

Hey Bonnie! Congrats on the GREAT labs!!! WooHoo!! Doing a " Snoopy Dance " for

you. :-) I am so glad to hear they got your swelling under control. How long

does the Cellcept study go on for? And what neph office asked you to come work

for them??...the one in Pueblo area or in Colorado Springs? (Just wondering if

I get to see you at my appointments if you accept it)

Take care and check in when you can,

Amy G.
