Thank you Pam. I'm really nervous about this.. I just don't have a good feeling about it, and that worries me more than anything. I'll just pray that all is well.

I'll certainly let you know when she finds out something.

Thanks for caring,

Jo

Ginny,

I see that you have many of the same issues I do with lumps.. the Dr. tells me I have approximately 40 such small lumps, and they get excited about it every year at mammo time, I've always got to go in for follow ups.. but, both my Mother and maternal grandmother had breast cancer (Mom is a 10 year survivor), so they are very careful.

Now, the really scary part. My 25 year old daughter just had an ultrasound which indicated a mass and some abnormal tissue. She goes for a new mammo on Friday. Talk about worry!!!!!

Hugs,

Jo

I agree, I'd go for a second opinion. It might be nothing.....but a second opinion would at least put your mind at ease.

Pam,

With the history in your family...and your own experience...I would get a second opinion. It may be that they are nothing serious...but you don't want to take chances. I had needle biopsies when I was 30 because I had 2-3 lumps n my left breast...turned out to be fibrous cysts..or calcium deposits...but it's better to be safe then sorry. Good luck and Hugs..Ginny

Hello Jo,

Thank you. I am doing ok. I've been spending too much time trying

to find another doctor! My trip to CA went well but has taken some

time to catch up. I hope to hear very soon that all is well with

your daughter. Take care of yourself and use whatever stress

relievers work for you. Good vibrations and prayers to you and your

daughter, With love, Lyn

Jo,

I hope that everything comes out fine with your daughter's testing. It's scary when breast cancer runs in your family. I also go in for yearly mamograms...and they find more and more lumps each yr..thankfully they are only fibrous cysts and nothing more serious. I will keep your daughter in my thoughts and prayers...Hugs..ginnyjomal1@... wrote:
