<< but I'm such a CHICKEN when it comes to PAIN! >>

Awwwww, balony, anyone who has EDS can tolerate a tattoo. We probably don't

even feel the pain. LOL!!!!

Hey guys!!

A friend turned me on to this pain killer stuff...

Wining that I might be too much of a chicken too, she wrote:

~~ There is something you can use to make it totally pain-free and some

tattoo places actually sell it, but you can buy it yourself at any drugstore -

it's called Emla cream and it works 100% of the time. It completely numbs the

skin and the effect lasts for some time. You put it on and leave it on for an

hour prior to the procedure, then wipe it off. We use it in hospitals on

children when they are going to get IV's. Here is the product:

So you apply the cream and cover it with a special bandage or you buy the

disk (like a patch) and apply it wherever you want your tattoo. Then when you

have it, voila, no pain. ~~

OK, Aase, I'm REALLY considering this now! I would surprise my hubby! AND

my Mom and Dad, AND my daughter, son, son-in-law, etc. etc.! :-)

Yes, I'll go to the pet store too! Hey are 3-4 days going to be enough for

all this????? LOL!

Thanks, Aase, for letting me know. What I'd like is a little angel to

remind me of my loved ones that have gone before me.

Love Lana

Re: A Brighter Day Tattoo's?

Hi Lana,

I assure you... A tattoo is nothing!!! Nothing compared to what we

live with every day. Nope, I don't think it stung at all afterwards.

Really... I don't think it was painful at all afterwards. It did itch

a bit after a while though.

He-he... I am such a freezer too, I wear turtlenecks and long pants

most of the year. But I will show my tattoo off when I get to the US

though... I guess I will have to go buy some tank tops, he-he... :)

One thing I am totally sure that I am going to do when I get there, I

want to go to a pet supermarket!!! I have been to the US three times

before, but still haven't gotten to a real big pet supermarket!!! I

will make sure that does not happen again!!!! I think I will even

find adresses online before I go this time.... If I am really lucky,

there's one not that far from the hotel... Anybody who wants to go

with me to buy cute stuff for our doggies???

Aase Marit :)
