Guest guest
Well, I thought I had. Brain fart. I went back to Walgreen's at least. I searched just " Thyroid " and it came up Thyroid (Armour). " Armour Thyroid " only got me Armour hams! The prices were very good. Any prescriptions I've had lately are sooo expensive. They also show a generic. Is there a reason not to get generic? Kate Re: Amour Thyroid >> I went to Walgreen's online to see how much Armour Thyroid cost. They didn't have it! I looked at Wal-Mart, same. Is that surprising? Where do you get yours? Locally or online? When I see Armour described in books as 1 grain is that the same as 1 gram. I think I saw the tabs can com in mg sizes and not sure how that equates to grains?<< Were you looking in the pharmacy of these stores? It is NOT an OTC (over the counter) supplement, but a prescription drug. We either have found or bullied a doctor into giving us a prescription for it, or have to order it online from another country where it can be ordered without a prescription. As for the sizes.. 1 grain = 60 MG, 2 grains = 120 MG, 3 grains = 180 MG *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
>>They also show a generic. Is there a reason not to get generic?<< The generics used to be not as good many years ago, but recently I think most of the generics are about as good but have different fillers than Armour Thyroid does. If you do not have a tendency to food allergies the generics seem to work just fine. I have been taking the generics for quite a while now, at least a year and have not had any problems with them. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
