Dear AMY and MOMS AGAINST MERCURY!

CONGRATS and BLESSINGS for the BILLBOARD near CDC.

Next, is it possible to create an ACTION EMAIL GROUP -- similar to

for TAKING ACTION to stop this atrocity of Mercury Poisoning of

our kids.

Actions like:

1) Marches against CDC, FDA, White House, Senator Frist, etc.

2) more Billboards,

3) Blanketing Washington with Dr. Cave's book What Your Doctor May

Not Tell You about CHILDRENS VACCINES -- or other package put together that

quickly and definitively tell the mercury vaccine autism/etc story.

4) finding a Celebrity spokesperson

5) getting PSA (public service announcements) with Celebrity spokesperson

made and put on tv to air free. (need non-profit group

doing educating of public, like explaining how chelating may help, etc)

6) Raising money for some of this with Celebrity auction

7) MILLION MARCH ON WASHINGTON!!!

8) really starting to work our Reps and Senators (might need a group in

Washington to be our contact)

9) this is an election season -- can anyone get to Kerry??

10) can anyone get to someone at CNN or Dateline , etc and pitch the story of

their child, along with sending the book by Dr. Cave and relevant package.

11) If someone is going to Washington, could Mom's Against Mercury provide

them with a package to take to their Rep/Senators.

(I'm from TN and my two Republican Senators hold a weekly -- every Tues

they're in town -- Constituent Breakfast for Tennesseans who come to Washington

Getting to Kerry is not going to work. I went to the Unlocking Autism

conference in DC last week and the chairperson for the national democratic

committee was there. She informed us that Kerry would not take a public

stand on autism because if he did that, he would have to take a stand on behalf

of all the other disabilities in our nation. People got pretty mad about this

and started saying that autism is the only disability at epidemic levels but it

did no good.

I absolutely loved your other ideas - I just wish I had a couple of million

dollars to make reality of them.

There ARE famous people out there dealing with autism - I just don't know what

their stand on the mercury issue is. Unfortunately I think they have to be

" politically correct " in their line of work so they may not want to get involved

(I most certainly don't agree with this).

Travolta for one and (Dr. Greene from ER) is actively

involved with CAN (Cure Autism Now). I do believe Sylvester Stallone's son is

autistic but it may just be rumors.

Sylvester Stallone's son IS autistic. He was on the front cover of a magazine

with his son, in a story about autism, quite awhile ago (maybe 20 years or so).

See, there are indeed plenty of famous people out there. The only problem is

getting them involved in the mercury issue. Maybe some mass e-mails and letters

to them would get them off their butts.

talks about him, so I wouldn't count on Sly for any help whatsoever.
