Guest guest
Hi everybody I spent so much time looking at Facebook this morning that i don't have time to read the posts. I am taking Rocky to the Vet in a couple of hours. Forgot to tell you about doc appt on Wed -- PFT -- similar to last time 6 min walk -- good pulmonary doc -- doing the same, she is also frustrated with need for prior authorization for Cellcept and paperwork involved. Called in nurse to take care of it. Back up to 30 mgs prednisone. Enables me to function, but trouble falling asleep and glucose is high after meals. Peggy -- i have irritable bowel and lactose intolerance. Drink lactaid milk and use Lactaid pills when I remember to. That's why yogurt hurts my tummy. I couldn't say all of this on facebook. Glad (not really) to see our numbers growing on Facebook -- maybe we can get more publicity for this disease. Guest guest
Joyce Real Yogurt...no milk, just active cultures, should not hurt your stomach (although if you've tried it and it does then obviously it does). The problem today is finding it as so many of the yogurts have milk or skim milk added in some form and nearly all the frozen yogurts do. > > Hi everybody > I spent so much time looking at Facebook this morning that i don't have time to read the posts. > I am taking Rocky to the Vet in a couple of hours. > > Forgot to tell you about doc appt on Wed -- > PFT -- similar to last time > 6 min walk -- good > pulmonary doc -- doing the same, she is also frustrated with need for prior authorization for Cellcept and paperwork involved. Guest guest
I guess I should have said I was TOOO full and my tummy hurt. Actually it is hard to breathe after any eating for a while. I'm fine this AM. my coffee is very filling too. I really hate this disease. Guest guest
ok, cellcept refills with authorization are a pain. But I think I finally have it working right. My doc wants blood work every month before he will resubmit cellcept. And he was always about 2 weeks, so I would run out of pills and have to have " loaner " pills from pharmacy. Now, I have the blood work done on the 15th of every month, (or the closest to the 15th if on weekend) then the pharmacy faxes in the request on the 20th or so, and by the first it is there. 2 months so far and not issues. Just means trying to stay one step ahead of everyone;) Later, NSIP 08 > > Subject: facebook and doc appt > To: breathe-support > Date: Friday, February 13, 2009, 9:14 AM > Hi everybody > I spent so much time looking at Facebook this morning that > i don't have time to read the posts. > I am taking Rocky to the Vet in a couple of hours. > > Forgot to tell you about doc appt on Wed -- > PFT -- similar to last time > 6 min walk -- good > pulmonary doc -- doing the same, she is also frustrated > with need for prior authorization for Cellcept and paperwork > involved.
