Guest guest
Hi I find that any supplements with sulphate in them (glucosamine, ferrous, quinine, MSM, etc.) cause me serious constipation. So I take glucosamine hydrochloride, which can be hard to find. I do find a Wampoles bottle occasionally. son used to make it in the Arthrimin line, but I haven't seen that lately. It's said to better absorbed than the sulphate version as well, but I don't know if that's true or not. I think that most manufacturers make the sulphate combination because it's cheaper and maybe easier. Anyway, I'd say that the glucosamine does help me, painwise. Not so sure it helps me with range of motion. One doctor thought that it acts an anti-inflammatory, and told me to stop taking it two weeks before the operation. I've been taking it since about two weeks post-op (for insurance on my other hip), though. n rBHR Oct.03 McMinn > Can anyone tell me exactly what to buy please? The choice in the shops is bewildering. I have been looking for 1500 mg of glucosamine but am having trouble finding it.
