Definitely - it's excellent exercise, good muscle toning and very good

aerobics exercise with no injury to the joints (everyone weighs 50 lbs in

the water).

One of the things I LOVE about my water aerobics class is that there

are all sizes and shapes of people in class. Most of the time we just

look like a bunch of heads sticking out of the water, anyway/1

We even have a couple of people in class who wear a t-shirt or some

type of sleeveless knit shirt over their suit. That usually lasts a

couple of weeks and then they feel more comfortable and leave the

shirt behind.

We are not bathing beauties to be sure, but we have so much fun! It

is good aerobic workout and resistance training also, working against

the water. My knees aren't the best and working out in the water is

very easy on the joints.

Also, I have met lots of fun, interesting people in my class. If you

are at all interested ... take the plunge! I think you'll like it!

We have a indoor pool in my little town. There are water aerobics there,

but I usually tread water fast for 30 minutes which is 5 points for me. I

do a sorta water running, and move my arms. I then swim some laps. I know

that EVERYONE LOVES the water aerobics classes!
