Guest guest
You may be surprised how long you have to wait in the waiting room, depending on the day of the week, patient load, etc. Do not be restricted by your travel plans. I waited 2 hours after my appointment slot before I saw him. In the meanwhile, you will be quickly xrayed (fully dressed, empty your pockets of metal). Bring a book. You will be impressed with him, as well you should. If he says he can fix what ails you, go for it. I did, and at 17 days post op have no regrets. Ironically, the first time I actually SAW Dr Mont was in pre- op! My x-rays had been sent and assessed, and all arrangements done via telephone; then I drove from Michigan for my surgery. What I want to tell you is that Dr Mont is super-busy; and has surrounded himself with wonderfully competent people. He will give you his full attention - but don't be afraid to ask questions of the other doctors and assistants who will also come in contact with you. My experience with Dr Mont and Dr Etienne; their staff; and the folks at Sinai Hospital...well, the whole thing was just plain wonderful! Best wishes!
