Guest guest
Deb, Tory, Christi, and said it all..even 's comment on feeling disguisted with ourselves when we feel fat, makes us want to do something...just keep on working at it, and you will get the results you seek..you are committed and will do ok.. All I would like to add to their comments is to go back and look at your journal for the week or the last 2 wks. and see how things really looked..and if there are some problem areas in there that needs working on...best to ya....Kallie ==================================================================== In Serious-Weight-Watchers , serenityHS@a... wrote: > Well, I had my WI and didn't lose one iota. Guest guest
<<<I wonder why so few men participate?>>> Cause men can lose weight by sitting on a couch and breathing. =) Just picking. =) I think a lot of men either don't need the meetings or on-line support, or they just don't like it. Women...or at least THIS woman...LOVE to talk about how they do things...how everyone else is doing. Why, how, what...blah-blah. For example, my husband wants to lose about 12 lbs. He's doing it completely on his own (and doing well too.) Even if I could get him on WW and to a meeting, he wouldn't let out a peep the entire time. Me on the other hand... I have to force myself to keep my hand down and mouth shut half of the time...and the other half of the time I just can't help myself. =) Also, one of my male co-workers is doing WW and he only goes in for the weigh-ins. He says he really doesn't need the comradery (I think that's a word) and the support from strangers. I know he doesn't represent the entire male race, but his response didn't surprise me... 'cause it was something I would expect a guy to say. Hope I haven't offended any guys...or gals here... I like to keep my foot permanently inplanted in my mouth. It makes WW really easy to do when you can't eat. =) WI > First weigh in since starting the Core program. I'm down 3 > pounds! Woo > hoo!
