I used to get thru Gatwick (south terminal) no worries but get caught at Arrecife, however I'm sussed both ends now! Might be worth learning the Spanish for " hip replacement " I meant to before going but totally forgot! I was told by a chap who has the same device (Cormet) implanted that it does not trigger the security buzzer at the airport. He is of similar build to me, which is average, I suppose (imperial: 5’10â€, 13 stone – metric: 175cm, 84kg). I’ll be able to confirm the airport security alarm issue in 2-3 weeks when I’ll be flying to Italy. I've set off every metal detector I've been through since my first BHR - Heathrow, JFK New York, San Francisco, San , Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Johannesburg, Oporto, Vienna airports, and every courthouse I've been in.
