Recently an acquaintance told me about a friend of hers that got a spider

bite and didn't take the medication he received, instead he chose to treat

it himself with herbs...he died.

Watch out with the garlic pre op. It interferes with clotting. I ate a

lot of garlic a week before my surgery to ward off a cold. I lost a

great deal of blood during surgery and no one could figure out

why since I had been careful to avoid aspirin etc. The only

answer was the garlic. Ruth rbhr DeSmet 5/13/03

Dear Zoe,

Am curious how you used the garlic---raw? Cooked? in pills? how much?

how long? where---inside your kids or in their ears?---do say more.

Thanks,

Eleanor

{MRSA}Garlic, smelly but healing

I once heard that staff wasn't resistant to GARLIC and since have

used it to home treat gammy cuts and burns with excellent results.

I've even used it to treat the kids ear infections without the need

for antibiotics. This may or may not be of any use to anybody.
