Guest guest
I can't give you any scientific evidence, but my children who meet the counting rules for mercury have never been vaccinated. They have no diagnosis either, but both have their issues. Dagmar. [ ] Mercury poisoning to the fetus - can it be successfully removed? I believe my son was mercury poisoned by the dental filling I had 3 weeks before he was born. He showed signs of being 'different' at only 4 months of age. He had no shots until he was 7 months and they definately added to his toxic burden. But the damage was already done before he was born. How much success is there with getting the mercury out of the brain and organs of a child who was poisoned in the womb? Most of the kids seem to regress AFTER they have been born and received their vaccinations. What is the estimate of success with a child who was poisoned BEFORE he was even born? Any advice or information is appreciated. . =======================================================
Guest guest
My son is born mercury poisoned and he has made tremendous gain with chelation (DMSA first, then DMSA+ALA). He went from non verbal to talking in sentences in a few months. How old is he? I believe the most important thing is to start chelation as early as possible. My son was almost 2 yo when we started. > I believe my son was mercury poisoned by the dental filling I had 3 > weeks before he was born. My son was autistic from HepB at 2 days old, so not quite " before birth " . I started chelating when he was age 5-1/2. He is no longer autistic because of chelation and anti-viral. But he still has significant language delay [which is improving each day but still very delayed]. Maybe some of the parents who had RhoGam shots can give you their information, it might be more relevant than mine. How old is your child now? Guest guest
Dana turned 4 in December. We began with all the diets and ABA when he was diagnosed at 22 months. I thought these would help but they really don't seem to have made much difference. I wish I'd learned about the importance of chelating back then. I'm wondering how to proceed, whether to use just ALA, or ALA and DMSA together. What is the advantage of using ALA/DMSA as opposed to just ALA? And how do you know when all the metals are out? . > > How much success is there with getting the mercury out of the brain > > and organs of a child who was poisoned in the womb? Guest guest
While pregnant with my son, I received 5 mercury-containing Rhogams and a flu shot. I had also received one three weeks before conceiving him. (after a m/c). He was different from birth, and we knew he had major problems at 7mos. He was also born with bilateral congenital clubfeet, which I am noticing to be much more common in mercury exposed children. He wasn't diagnosed until he was 15mos old and we began intensive biomedical interventions, used weekly IVs of glutathione, DMPS, ALA, etc, as well as the " quintet " . After 19 mos of treatment, he today appears to the " uneducated observer " as normal, he is above age-appropriate in language (and didn't even babble until he was 19 mos old), very smart, and his biomedical issues are improving, though we still have a long way to go. His gut is healing, and recent tests show many of his detox mechanisms are starting to work on their own. He still suffers with anxiety and does have some " autistic " residua, a fascination with numbers, letter, etc. However, he has excellent imaginary play skills and socially is catching up to peers. Not bad for a kid who was considered " austistic from birth " , and who the neurologist predicted would be " very autistic " by the time he was 3. I know our biomed journey will be a long one, but I see now that my son will most likely live a " normal " life. I thank God daily for the healing that is taking place, and thankful that we got involved in treating him as being a child with significant medical problems, rather than " treating his autism " . We have also done ABA, ST, OT, but nothing was as important to him as the biomed stuff...Good luck and feel free to write me off board if you like...Kim > > > How much success is there with getting the mercury out of the > brain > > > and organs of a child who was poisoned in the womb? Guest guest
By the way, if you feel comfortable, using DMSA along with ALA will speed the process, but several people use ALA only with great results. I think you know the metals are all out when the child makes significant improvements and is plateaued out. I think Andy says it might take as many as 100 rounds (some do it in 40-60), which translates into two years or more...Kim > > > > How much success is there with getting the mercury out of the > > brain > > > > and organs of a child who was poisoned in the womb? Guest guest
The children I know of who definitely were ponisoned in utero did improve dramatically on chelation. I thought these would help but > they really don't seem to have made much difference. My son showed *some* improvement with diet, but not nearly as much as other people indicate for their kids. He obtained ZERO benefit from ABA-type intervention until I began biomedical. I discovered my son tolerated basically no foods, so I used HNI enzymes and rotated foods to find what he still did not tolerate even with enzymes. Turns out he needed a different diet altogether, with the enzymes. Chelation removed all his food issues. Now he can eat anything he wants, and the only supplements he needs are anti-virals. My son did need both chelation AND anti-viral. I wish I'd > learned about the importance of chelating back then. I'm wondering > how to proceed, whether to use just ALA, or ALA and DMSA together. > > What is the advantage of using ALA/DMSA as opposed to just ALA? I use only ALA because I was not comfortable with the potential side effects of DMSA, especially because I don't have access to medical tests. You need DMSA if your child has lead. Otherwise, most people use DMSA to clear the metals from the body before clearing them from the brain. However, I never saw anything with my kids [i chelated all four of them] that I would call " metals going INTO the brain " , even tho I never used DMSA. I believe DMSA/ALA would be faster than ALA alone. My process took just over 2 years and 84 rounds, altho round 84 was about 4 weeks long. Now I just do maintenance rounds. > And how do you know when all the metals are out? For my son, he started tolerating supplements at about round 50 [he also lost his tendency toward yeast at about this round]. Then at round 84 I decided to " chelate every day until I noticed something " . Then about 4 weeks into that, he started regressing and it was not his yeast symptoms. I stopped the round and also I stopped all his supplements [my son will regress if he receives supplements he does not need]. After experimentation, I noticed that he tolerated all foods at that time, even without enzymes. I added back a few supplements [like cal/mag], but adding the other supplements caused regression, even tho previously he had improvement with them. At this point I determined that the metals were *probably* gone, altho I don't have test results to determine that. I do maintenance rounds now, about once per month. Good luck.
