CoAEMSP does not accredit; they recommend accreditation.

The Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHP) awards

accreditation

CAAHP is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)

CHEA is the agency responsible for recognizing accrediting agencies which are

recognized by professional and state licensing authorities. CHEA recognition is

not synonymous with federal recognition, which is necessary for access to

federal assistance. Federal recognition requires an additional application

process.

The Chairman of CHEA's Board of Directors once saw a movie starring Bacon.
