All you have to do is log into yahoo, and under your user preferences

chose to leave the group.

I don't get email directly, I chose the " web only " version (again, in

preferences) and get to read at my liesure without any overflow issues

with my mailbox.

, you must remove yourself, go to www.yahoogroups.com, put in your yahoo password then find this group in your list, it says My Groups. I edit by subject line. Sometimes I get 100 emails, and only read a dozen. That's another reason why it's so important to change the subject line as the line of thought changes.
