Guest guest
Does anyone know about post op and sleeping on a waterbed (waveless), once you are healed. I was told by another Dr. that waterbed would be no good, of course that was when looking into a THR.
Guest guest
Does anyone know about post op and sleeping on a waterbed (waveless), once you are healed. I was told by another Dr. that waterbed would be no good, of course that was when looking into a THR. Mine is a hybrid-looks like a regular bed. My PT had fits when I told her about it, but it is the only bed I have. It is a little more difficult to get out of than a regular bed, so I may have had to call for help for a couple of days longer. I would have no problem with it now. If you want to see what it might be like immediately post op, try to get in and out of it without being able to lift your leg, and without bending the hip past a 90 degree angle...
