The only sweetener he gets is honey, and I try to limit that as much as possible. Other dietary restrictions are no grains or potatoes or juice. During a chelation round, I give him 2 drop of Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) twice a day. During the rest of the week I rotate oil of oregano, caprylic acid, and Candida Clear (by Now Vitamins). He is only just beginning to tolerate probiotics, so I'm trying different ones -- people use Primal Defense, Culturelle, you have to try them to see what works for your particular kid. Mostly I'm just trying to hang on until chelation takes care of the yeast for good. HTH. Nell

Guest guest
For Candida we specifically tried Aqua Flora and our son did well. That along with the GF/CF diet and our son had solid stools for the first time in his life. Someone here mentioned vitacost.com to us and they do carry it. They have been very prompt in their deliveries. The Aqua Flora section of vitacost.com recommends avoiding: All sweets and desserts and sugar foods in any fashion, including fruits and soft drinks All breads and flour products of any kind All cheeses Any kind of alcoholic beverages Antibiotics Hormones Steroids Foods that you are allergic to. [ ] Candida issue Hi everyone, My son has Candida issue. I don't know how to help my son to control the Candida. Can you help me? I will deeply appreciate any advice and comment.
