Guest guest
Hello, It sounds like Corin and are getting their foot in the USA door. But Birmingham is not. Question: Are there any BHR surgeons developing in Canada? Belbo.
Guest guest
Check back through the archives. There are several surgeons in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton using the BHR, and I think some in Ontario and Quebec as well. You could also check the MMT site and links. The problem in Canada is the long waiting lists for publicly funded surgery, but apparently in Alberta you can pay to have it done in a private hospital, for a little less than what it would cost in England, or perhaps about the same cost as going to Belgium (now that the Euro is so high). We have private surgical clinics in B.C., but they aren't currently allowed to do hip resurfacings or replacements, although they do a lot of other hip and knee surgeries for injuries covered by car insurance, workers compensation, etc. n rBHR Oct.03 McMinn
