Guest guest
Hi, you two. Peggy, have a great time on your trip. Be safe and be prepared to tell us all about it. Pictures please. My brother gave me an Amazon Kindle after transplant and I love it. I too love real books, but with my tremors it's easier to hold on to the Kindle. You press a button to turn the " page. " I love that you can enlarge the font to whatever you prefer, so I don't need to wear my glasses to read. It isn't like reading on a computer, because it's just one brief page at a time. I actually read faster on the Kindle than I do with a paperback. The books I have downloaded were less expensive or the same price as I would have paid for the paper back. I still read real books, too, but I love the Kindle. I'm sure would love one. I have used mine so much in waiting rooms. It fits easily into most purses. Beth, I'm sorry about the diagnosis. Hope your soreness stays mild from the biopsies. Your attitude as always is admirable. You're a winner! God bless you.
