You should be VERY proud of that run! And to have " gas " enough to

feel like you could pull out another three miles, that's awesome! I

don't think you'll have any problem with a half or full marathon. I

always do that, too, try to judge at the end of a race how much

farther I think I could run if I had to. It makes me feel strong when

I realize I could do more miles. It also makes me decide to do longer

and longer races, but hey, that's a good thing!!!

Cool!

Towards the end of my long run yesterday I felt like I could go on for

another couple of miles. (It was an 8 mile run.) I raced a guy into the

finish. I just get so competitive and was okay with pacing him, but he

wanted to pass me and well, I couldn't let THAT happen! When we finished he

came up to me and said, " Thanks for that little push at the end! "
