Guest guest
Hi - Thyroid storm is generally diagnosed by a fever over 100 F (37.8 C), a very fast heartrate out of proportion to the temperature, a screwed up central nervous system, cardiovascular system or digestive system and exaggerated peripheral manifestations of thyrotoxicosis (for example excessive shaking and sweating). (in laymen's terms from Emergency Medicine: A comprehensive guide). Take care, dx & RAI 1987 (at age 24) > I've heard of the thyroid storm.
