Guest guest
Eileen, There is nothing wrong with you. Debbie Rushing also had a very bumpy start, but she's now lost 15 pounds. Many, many people have a slow and bouncing start. Don't give up . . . keep going and staying legal. You could try doing the Turtle Menus for a couple of weeks and see if that sort of structure helps you. Also, you could post a list of everything you ate and drank each day and let us have a peek at it to see if we could make some helpful suggestions. Whatever happens, don't give up! Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am in my fourth week, and must say, disappointing results, I lost 3 lbs the first week, 3 lbs the 2nd week, and gained 4 lbs the 3rd week, and as Friday comes around I am not going to weigh, I have not cheated, but added a cup of carbs to my diet, I am really charb resistanced, on my induction diet, I couldn't eat salad or anything, (boo hoo) So this could be water weight I am holding, or it could be those darn carbs, and those carbs are cauliflower, is all, ho hum, I guess I will start back on the strick diet without any of those carbs, I have been drinking 10 large glasses of liquid a day, hoping to flush out the water weight, I have to stay on the diet, until I loose my weight, but boy I am thinking there must be a reason I'm not seeing the scale go down, and my pants are not getting more comfortable, I wish I was a man, My husband is on this stupid diet, and he has lost, 6 lbs the first week and more and the 2nd week already lost 4 lbs and he has 4 more days to go argggg hugs to all eileen in UP of Michigan who is wondering if there is something wrong with her??????????? Guest guest
Dr. Lee has a list in his books that have creams that actually have progesterone in them. According to him, not all wild yam creams do, some sort of processing needs to occur. The one I use is prescribed by my dr. and mixed up at a compounding shop. I did do a 30 FHP saliva test. The cream has really helped me, although not so much w/ weight loss as some other symtoms. And because it is a prescription, 1/3 of the cost is covered by insurance, better than nothing. :-) Beth in TX wrote: <<You could also think about having a saliva test from your gp. for low level of progesterone. It can have a huge impact on weight loss and weight gain. Just make sure that the progesterone you use is wild yam with chaste tree. >>

Guest guest
It has helped me sleep better, improved my mood, made me less chronically tired, and completely eliminated fibro-cystic breast pain. Good stuff! The FHP test showed that I was estrogen-dominant, which was causing these symptoms. I am 38 and have not had any menopausal symptoms. My dr. says this is very common in women my age. However, I've had to reduce the dosage that the dr. recommended and alter the timing a little because it was causing more frequent periods.
