Guest guest
Dear , ::Big Hugs:: I'm glad you're home! About your draining.. My drain was removed before I left the hospital so I don't have any experience with " at-home " drains and what that is like. I don't think that there is anything wrong with calling your surgeon with any kind of question that you have. I called about my surgi-strips (they were giving me blisters), I called about a pain in my side, etc., That's what they're there for, right...? Don't hesitate to call and I hope you are feeling better soon. You mentioned that you are drinking Boost+ right now. Boost has a lot sugar in it. Have you read/heard about the protein powders that you mix with water? Mom (Vitalady) has great information at her website Vitalady.com - Protein Supplements, Vitamins & Minerals, and Safe Snacks! Take a look at the different kinds of protein she offers. I recommend ordering sample packets of protein so you can try it before you buy a large canister. My favorites are Champion Nutrition's ProScore 100 and Champion Nutrition's Pure Whey Stack (both in chocolate.) Take good care and God bless you. Love, Trace in Va. Beach, VA Dr. Schechner, Va. Guest guest
Thanks, Trace. I did get a bunch of samples from Mom/Vitalady. I stopped drinking the boost+ and the apple juice they strictly told me I had to drink the first two weeks. BOTH killed my stomach. I feel 100% better now in that area. I found a love for sugar free popsicles. Makes me feel like I am eating. ) Re: update/Louise > Dear , > > ::Big Hugs:: I'm glad you're home! About your draining..
