Guest guest
This isn't such a new discovery... but one that I'm willing to trumpet anyway! Flat-out bread. They're kind of like tortillas, only a little more substantial. 3 or 4 points ea, depending on what variety you get. Not as low in points as some products, but I think they're great. They're pretty good-sized and you can easily split one in half and still be satisfied. I get it at the local grocery store and I know that many SuperWally's carry it. The manufacturer's website is http://www.delections.com/. This is available in several flavors and also in a low carb version. I like the Italian Herb the best. I emailed the vendor a few months ago, telling them how much I loved the flat outs. They responded with a very nice note and even sent me some coupons. I used these more before I started doing the Core program. I made wraps, thin crust pizza, panini, etc. Any new low point discoveries? I guess the thing I'm always looking for and interested in is new low point ideas or products. Such as Carb Focus chips, the entire bag is only 3 points. Also Lays has a " light " potato chip out thats only 1 point for 20 chips. You can now get low carb tortillo wraps that are only 1 point. Colonial Bread has a lite wheat bun for hot dogs and hamburgers that only 1 point and you can get fat free hot dog weinies that are only 2 points. (not good grilled because they srivel up to nothing but good cooked on the stove). Any body else got any new discoveries? -- ¸...¸ __/ /\____ ____ ,·´º o`·,/__/ _/\_ //____/\ ```)¨(´´´ | | | | | | | || |l±±±± | ¸,.-·²°´ ¸,.-·~·~·-.,¸ `°²·-. :º° The 's As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! 24:

Guest guest
If you want a HUGE dessert, get two servings of chocolate FF pudding (3 points), 1 serving of FF cool whip (0), and a small banana (2). Seriously, you'll have to skip dinner. It's that big. :>) Boswell http://websearch.about.com websearch.guide@...
Guest guest
that reminds me - there are some awesome low carb bagels at Costco. They are not mini bagels, but they are somewhat smaller than regular (too big anyways) bagels, and they are only 1 point each, and they come in several varieties. They are made by Western Bagel, and called " The Alternative Bagel " Each one is 2 oz. 110 cals/0 fat/8 g fiber and an added bonus: 7 g protein! They even have significant portions of calcium (10% of DV) and iron (8%). I think you may be able to find them in the low carb section of regular grocery stores, too. Guest guest
We don't have Costco's here but I'll be sure to look for them elsewhere. You can make two pizzas out of one sheet (they're that big) and add a big salad. I've done that before. They also have a low carb version of a wrap by the same company that is HUGE and is only one point (I think three points for two, though...which is typical). They make awesome wraps. Guest guest
Some things I enjoy (some may be oldies, but goodies) No pudge brownies FF SF yogurt with frozen berries Dreyer's no sugar added fruit bars (0 pts) The flat out and carb out breads/wraps (1-4 points depending on serving) Sara Lee Delightful wheat or white bread, full sized bread that takes a beating and doesn't fall apart...love 'em! Only 1 point for 2 slices Pan honey peanut butter still 2 pts for 1 tbs, but a little goes a long way and no need to add extra honey to bread if you want a PB and H sandwich
Guest guest
No offence meant...I've had both and really do like the wraps better...taste wise and point wise. I saw where someone said the flat outs were good for making pizza. Now that sounds good. I'll try that! Guest guest
It's not really a low point discovery, but I make soup with lots of veggies and legumes (chili, ham and bean soup, gumbo). They are almost always 1.5 - 2 points a cup. I leave them in a airtight container in the fridge. Whenever I am starving and need to cook dinner, or am not in the mood to chop, weigh and prepare a meal I heat some. It's filling, it's low points, it's healther than any prepared " snack " I could get from a package (and just as quick to fix). But when I really want a sweet snack I do Blue Bunny Healthy Start creme pops. (the other) Beth > > > > > > The wheat flat out bread is 4 points. Guest guest
I'm catching up on posts, so forgive me if someone has already posted about this. I recently discovered these ramen-like bowls of noodles called " Simply Asia Soy Noodle Soup Bowls. " I actually picked the package up at the store for the sole purpose of mocking how many calories and fat grams it contained. I was SHOCKED because it only has 70 calories and NO fat. It also has 2.5 grams of fiber. So, it's ONE POINT!!! I bought mine at a store called Marc's (for 96 cents). It's not exactly the same as ramen, but it hits the spot (I love noodles), especially for only one point. Here's the company's website, http://p2.hostingprod.com/@thaikitchen.com/soynoodlesoupbowl.html They have a " contact us " link on this site, so maybe they'll tell you where you can purchase these in your area. 297/227.5/

Guest guest
Hi, Ginny: The sodium content is...eh...not as bad as some things: 210mg for the Savory Onion and 100mg for the Szechwan Garlic. I've had both of those, and I like them both. They have one with ginger in it, but I haven't had it. I'm not a huge ginger fan. I hope you can find them!! > That sounds great ! Guest guest
I orignally posted the note about the flat-out bread and, believe me, no offense taken! :-) To the contrary, I thank goodness we live in a country where we're free to express our opinions. Flat out pizzas are tasty. I like to make them with FF cheese, turkey pepperoni and veggies from the Farmer's Market. (Too bad the growing season is just about over!) I've also made a WW version of Pizza Marguerite, with slices of tomato, FF mozzerella and basil leaves. Re: Any new low point discoveries?
