Guest guest Posted December 11, 2001 Report Share Posted December 11, 2001 Joanne, there is a store simular to yours here in S.F. bayarea named Greenbeanz that sellss all the Atkinsprod. as well as Keto and others,and the 2 men that own it have lost 129lbs between the 2 of them doing Atkins~ they have also started to hold a class once a week simular to ww where they discuss Atkins and exchange recipies and locarb hints and support with each other, they charge a one time fee of $25.00 to join and they are haveing choleserol [?] tests this week~ I've never attended but they seem to be doin well, maybe down the line you could start some kind of classes and really rake of the moola, much sucess in your new adventure ALICE >*;*< Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I already have everyone who comes in signing up for a mailing list, some will be by e-mail and others by snail mail. I am going to have a cooking class monthly starting in January and will have diabetic and weight loss support groups as well. With the cooking class, they will pay $5 to sign up and when they come to the class, they will get a $5 gift certificate to my store. I won't charge for support groups, but will hope that many will buy while they are there. Guest guest Posted December 12, 2001 Report Share Posted December 12, 2001 LOL.....If business keeps up the way it has been, there has not been more than 2 or 3 minutes without customers in the store. I can't get out of the store in the evening for the stream of people. Nice problem!!!! Mornings are my best walking time, but right now I am getting ready and leaving as early as I can so I can get there early to do whatever I need to do before we open the doors.
