Guest guest
We're going in June. From my inquiries I have heard mostly positive results from the parents who have answered via email and those I have personally talked to on the phone. If you call the Institute they will give you numbers of people to talk to. I am waiting to hear more from one mother who just completed the program. If you would like I will forward you what she says. Feel free to keep in touch & email me directly if you'd like. We are starting on June 21. I am very excited to go! Guest guest
I took my son who has sensory issues to a Handle practitioner on the basis of another parent's recommendation. Handle works on the sensory systems and teach the parents exercises to do with the child to stimulate these systems gently. My son was also not 'Wow' from it, but he is getting better. His muscle tone is better, he is able to cope with large groups better etc... Of course he's also taking enzymes which may be helping as well. Handle has a web site - I think it's www.Handle.org They have a list of trained practitioners in the US and overseas. The main institute is in Seatle. They work with ASD, OCD, SID, ADD/ADHD...... Might be worth checking to anyone with a child with sensory issues. Abby
